With the theme of "Design Transmutation umbrella creates the future", the competition focuses on the five directions of "scientific and technological innovation, women's luxury, cultural and creative gifts, specific scenes, environmental protection and low carbon". The deadline for registration is October 31. The purpose of this competition is to collect a group of outstanding designers at home and abroad who have innovative ideas, can be implemented and promoted, and promote the successful implementation of the design results, so as to add design vitality to the industry. The winning works will be on long-term public display at the China Umbrella City Exhibition Hall.
The holding of "China Umbrella Cup" international Umbrella Creative Design Competition not only builds a bridge of communication for designers at home and abroad, but also promotes the industrial design upgrading and iteration of Jinjiang umbrella industry to further enhance the competitiveness of Jinjiang umbrella industry. In the first two editions of the competition, more than 2,000 works were collected, covering more than 100 universities at home and abroad, including Korea, Japan, Italy, Russia, the United States, Argentina, Spain and other countries.
