The program spans five weeks and consists of three classes, accommodating a total of 80 children of employees. It aims to provide a joyful summer experience tailored to each child's needs.
During the opening ceremony, attendees included Chen Liansheng, Deputy Chairman of the People's Congress and Chairman of the General Labor Union in Dongshi Town, Li Jianjun, Vice Chairman of the General Labor Union in Dongshi Town, Ding Jingtang, Deputy General Manager of Yoana Umbrella, Bian Qiangji, Deputy General Manager of Yoana Umbrella, all the teachers of the summer program, and the participating students and their parents.
Lin Qianru, a representative teacher from the Sailing Social Work Service Center, explained the program's schedule and arrangements. The summer curriculum is divided into five main areas: "Academic Support," "Safety Education," "Red Culture Inheritance," "Character Development," and "Sex Education." These areas are designed to meet the specific characteristics and needs of primary school children, allowing them to enrich their holidays through diverse activities.
In his speech, Chen Liansheng, Chairman of the General Labor Union in Dongshi Town, expressed that the summer program is an important initiative by Yoana Umbrella to care for the families of its employees. It also reflects the union's active support for enterprise development and its concern for employees. While the company strengthens safety management and implements safety measures to ensure flawless operations, the teachers are also expected to help children improve their language and practical skills through the summer program, providing them with a colorful and enriching vacation.
Bian Qiangji, Deputy General Manager of Yoana Umbrella, mentioned that the summer program helps parents solve the challenging question of "who will take care of the children during the summer vacation," relieving the burden for employees. It is hoped that through the summer program, children can spend a pleasant vacation in a safe and comfortable environment, complete their summer assignments, and experience meaningful personal growth.
During the event, staff from LoveEye Hospital delivered a thematic presentation on "How to Prevent Myopia in Children during the Summer." Through examples, visual aids, and sharing experiences, they helped the children understand how to better care for their eye health. Both parents and children in the audience listened attentively.
